Industrial area needs good quality water, cheap, and can be produced along of year. Kalimalang River, as Jakarta’s water source, undoubtly capable to fulfill those requirements. But, because Kalimalang River is far from North Jakarta, there is a need to build water pipeline system. Water pipeline should be built with good plan and design to deliver good and economical output. Because of that reason, this thesis will make a plan of water pipeline appropriate with AWWA M11 and ASME B31.3. The planned pipeline is use steel pipe system from Kelurahan Pulo Gebang until Cakung, which is most of it will be buried and located near Lingkar Utara Jakarta Highway. Design process conducted by internal force analysis, external force analysis, hydraulic analysis, pump selection, and also cost analysis. Beside of those, design process also conducts pipe bridge structure design and modeling of whole pipeline in computer software by CAESAR II and Pipe Flow Expert. The conclusion are 16 inch schedule 20 steel pipe is used for pipe that buried in the side of highway and schedule 30 steel pipe for road crossing pipe. Water pipeline system using 100 horsepower booster pump. Water production cost per meter cubic of pipeline system is Rp 2.656 which is still under of market water cost. text
