Summary: | When electronic device is turned on, the electronic device will draw a current that is greater than the normal current to operate. If several electronic devices turn on at the same time, then there will be an inrush current accumulation which value can be very large and can make an MCB trip which is an unexpected event.
To overcome this incident, SPOS is made, namely a device in the form of an electrical outlet that can delay the turn on time of an electronic device so that it does not turn on simultaneously but turns on sequentially. SPOS consists of several constituent systems which are closely related. In this document the author describes the design and implementation of one of the SPOS systems, namely the control system. The control system was designed and implemented using an Arduino microcontroller with an ATMega 328 micro processor. |
