In this situation, a car business rental that chooses an online driver as a target market is one of the services business that has been positively affected. Motivation (M) is one of the factors considered important parameters to maintain excellent individual work performance (IWP). In the end, it can impact on the consistency the average amount of their daily income. So, this study aims to examine the influence of motivation on individual work performance among online drivers in West Java. The researcher using a quantitative approach and the research method is a survey conducted online by distributing the questionnaire as a tool of data collection with a total of 280 respondents. The population of this study is online drivers in West Java that choose Grab, GoJek or both of them as an application partner. This study using descriptive analysis and simple linear regression analysis. Finding: the significant value of t-test is 0.000 that means the hypothesis of this study accepted. The value of regression correlation (b) is 26.752 that means motivation has a direct and positive relationship to individual work performance. The contribution value based on the R2 value is 0.231 equivalent to 23.1%. The correlation value, R has a value 0.484 meaning that the two variables have a moderate relationship. text |
