Description
Summary:The quality of heavily polluted river water can have a negative impact on human life, such as poor health due to the use of polluted river water and also decreased agricultural productivity due to water contaminated with heavy metals. One of the efforts to prevent before the occurrence of these adverse effects is to monitor river water quality parameters such as pH, temperature, turbidity and conductivity. The monitoring system of river water quality parameters in the network consists of two main systems, namely a measuring system placed in the terrain and a monitor system connected to the internet network, so that river water quality parameters can be observed remotely as long as it is connected to an internet connection. Communication subsystem development and monitoring systems have been designed and tested. To send information, river water quality parameters can use the GPRS network with the SIM9000 GSM / GPRS module. Then the information has been received by the monitor system, while the Thingspeak database is a temporary storage place. Furthermore, storing the entire data can also be done using the MongoDB database. Then, information on river water quality parameters can be requested in the Graphical User Interface at the address rivermonitoring.herokuapp.com.
