Description
Summary:The spread of HIV can occur through sexual contact. Sexual contact between individuals form a network. Simulations the spreading of HIV require a detailed descripton of the population network and individual in detail and accurately. In this study combines Agent Based Model and Complex Networks called Complex Networks Agent. Individuals are represented as agents. Network is formed from sexual contact agent in the form of heterosexual and male homosexual. The initial network is assumed to be scale-free. The spread of HIV infection follows the rules of changing status. Simulation the spreading of HIV use HIV infected individual data in South Australia. At global scale, it is found the spread of HIV through male homosexual faster than heterosexual based on measurements of average path length, betweeneess centrality and clustering coefficient. At local scale, it obtained information of HIV notification. The model show good correspondence between the historical data of the Annual Surveillance Report and simulation results
