The chatbot interaction design and build is carried out using user-centered design approach so that the solution designed can meet user requirements. Understanding the context of use is done by user research through conducting interviews, questionnaire survey, and user modeling followed by analysis to determine user requirements. The chatbot solution design is named Mariel Assistant with seven main features to answer user requirements that have been analyzed. The solution design is then implemented in the form of a chatbot prototype on Line Messenger platform. Evaluation of the chatbot prototype interaction design is done by usability testing. The test results show that the chatbot prototype interaction design is considered as good with the success of twelve usability testing tasks given to eight target users and the results from evaluation questionnaire with average score above four out of total five points on usability goals and user experience goals for each feature on the chatbot system. text |
