Hybrid PV-based electric power systems are the answer to the fulfilment clean energy of electricity and are suitable to be designed in areas that are isolated and far from the main electricity network. The Hybrid systems will be discussed in this paper are the hybrid from PV, Generator and Battery Storage Systems. The design of a Hybrid PV system depends on geographical location, resource potential, and load profile. Looking at the considerations of these parameters, technical and economic analysis is needed regarding the design of the generating system. Overall, this paper will discuss the technical and economical design of Hybrid PVbased electric power systems that will be implemented in the village of Amaru, Asmat, Papua. Technical parameters such as Irradiance, Temperature, Controller and Sizing Components will be the mainfocus of the discussion. Technical design analysis will use MATLAB/SIMULINK with the application of the Perturbation & Observation (P&O) algorithm on Maximum Power Point Tracker (MPPT) and economical design analysis will use Homer Pro. Based on the result, the output from MATLAB/SIMULINK will be more comprehensive because the input data can adjust by every single time. The results obtained in the feasible and reliable system that can be used as a consideration in the plan to build a Hybrid PV-based power system in the village of Amaru, Asmat, Papua. text
