Summary: | The problem about pipe leakage more than 10 years period and also the number of population growth in Griya Kencana Residence, Rajabasa District, Bandar Lampung City. It should be well considered that the new design for water pipelines allows optimal flow and water supply for the population. The design of water pipelines for this location needs to be improved with the costs of procurement and installation of pipelines as well as operational costs for the long term in the context of optimal water supply. Linear Programming is a very popular and reliable method of solving optimization problems that constraint functions, and objective functions. The function of this Linear Programming is quite simple, and easy to overcome various problems of optimization objectives and can be used in various cases in branched pipelines. This research tries to solve the problem of the diameter of water pipelines at the debate location with the case of branching pipelines. From this analysis shows that linear programming can solve and provide optimal solutions for the diameter of clean water pipelines and guaranteed water avability in Griya Kencana Residence, Bandar Lampung City. |
