Summary: | This project explains the development of user interface system on VIDI a product to monitor visitor performance in retail. VIDI was proposed because competition between retailers is getting tougher and needs to adapt to changing trends among customers. To be able to determine the marketing strategy, retailers must have a good understanding of their customers. This can be obtained by analyzing customer information in the store which includes customer traffic. By having customer traffic information in the store, retailers can increase marketing efficiency after knowing the most crowded time of visit, the most optimal location for the product, and the most visited area in the store. By using VIDI, these information can be obtained easily without the need to conduct customer surveys. This information is presented in the form of visualization that is easy to observe, in the form of graphs, tables, and density map images. In order for retailers to access access to the information easily, it will be presented through a web page. That way we need a framework to develop the web and methods to get information stored on the server. And no less important is the method for displaying information in the form of graphs, tables, and density map images. Testing is done by checking the network, console, and web display. Test results can be used to optimize development and determine success. |
