Description
Summary:PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) or PT AP II is a State-Owned Enterprise engaged in airport services and airport-related services in Indonesia. PT AP II manages two business segments, namely the aeronautical business and the non-aeronautical business. In general, the aeronautical sector has a better performance than the non-aeronautical sector, especially in terms of production or sales volume. In 2017, PT AP II formed a special unit that handled the management of commercialization activities at PT AP II, namely the Commercial Division, where previously the management of commercial was handled by branches. In this study, the authors conducted an analysis and exploration of the factors affecting the performance of the Commercial Division as the unit responsible for achieving company revenue targets, particularly in the non-aeronautical sector. There are three main business issues obtained, namely inefficient and ineffective business process, the process of renovation of buildings by tenants has not been well organized, and the business process manual that can cause the process is effective and efficient. Based on analysis and exploration, there are several alternative business solutions proposed to address existing business issues, namely the concept of the One-Stop Service Commercial Division, Digital Transformation in the Commercial Division, and a combination of the two alternative business solutions. Among these alternatives, Digital Transformation in the Commercial Division is the best priority to be carried out in the Commercial Division. The proposed business solution priority is to carry out Digital Transformation in the Commercial Division with the benefits of the time to implement the program is relatively faster compared to other alternatives, the cost required is not too expensive, providing good value added for potential business partners, and giving a good impact on business processes in the management of the Commercial Division.
