Therefore, as an interior design student, to contribute to the change of children which has been proven commit to crime and must be rehabilitated at the Juvenile Detention Centre, this study was conducted. Research conducted to find out what correctional programs are given to the youth in the Class II Juvenile Detention Centre of Bandung City, what are the facilities that support the correctional programs, are the existing facilities provide the needs, and are the existing facilities are utilize otimally, how to meet the needs of supporting facilities for the correctional programs in the Class II Juvenile Detention Centre of Bandung City, and how to optimally utilize existing facilities. This research was conducted using qualitative methods, namely by analyzing and interpreting the texts of interviews, implementation, and field observations. The study began by conducting field observations to collect data about what correctional programs are available in the Class II Juvenile Detention Centre of Bandung City, what facilities are available to conduct the programs, and how these facilities are used. The data that has been collected is then described in detail. Then, the data that has been explained previously are sorted and selected which are important and useful in this study. After important and useful data are selected, what is done is then to construct, analyze, and compare the data. The analysis carried out is whether there are existing facilities in Class II Juvenile Detention Centre of Bandung City have met the needs of existing correctional programs and whether these facilities have been utilized optimally. Besides, another analysis carried out was by comparing the existing facilities in Class II Juvenile Detention Centre of Bandung City with the international standard literature that had been collected previously, namely the Technical Guidance standard for Prison Planning - UNOPS. The conclude of analysis that has been done is correctional program need that is good facilities are not fully met. Also, the existing facilities are not yet used optimally. And to meet the needs of the correctional programs, the data of the program and all of the equipment that needed must be collected. And to optimize the utilization of the facilities, what is must be done is carried out scheduling and good implementation to create a culture of good correctional programs. text
