Summary: | The river management cost is comparable to the socio-economic costs That issued when mitigating bad effects from the management. Some of developing countries, the river has been blocked to the canals so the floodplain area can be liberated and fully developed without any fear of flooding. or changes in river flow due to sedimentation. This study further investigates the sediment transport equation approach which takes into account several parameters such as flow velocity distribution and sediment degradation. Therefore, it is necessary to calibrate the numerical modeling stage to find out the appropriate and suitable sedimentary approach to the characteristics of the river sedimentation patterns reviewed, in this case the modeling is done using Delft3D software. This research modeling uses three approach equations namely Van Rijn, Engelung Hansen and Meyer Peter Muller which are modeled with input data from measurements. The comparison of the total sediment transport value of the model and the field shows the Van Rijn method is the closest method to the data, thus the best method in sediment modeling using Delft3D for river characteristics such as this study is Van Rijn.
