Description
Summary:Tapos Regional General Hospital is a regional general hospital located in Tapos District, Depok City, West Java. This hospital was initiated by the Depok City government with a target of low economic community users. This Regional General Hospital is a Class C hospital that can accommodate 124 beds. The design area is 15000 m2. The project site is located in contoured vacant land with high vegetation density and there is water flow on the site. Large Building Floor Coefficients are utilized well but still consider harmony with the elevation of surrounding buildings, resulting in massing hospitals consisting of 3-5 floors. Massing in such a way makes the green open space on the site larger.. To solve 3 design issues, that is the cost, the healing environment and comfort and to utilize the characteristics of the land, the authors provide a design solution, namely "Nature Infused Hospital". "Nature Infused Hospital" is defined as a hospital that incorporates natural elements into buildings that can be enjoyed by the four human senses namely visual, audial, kinesthetic and olfactory to create a healing environment for patients who united with nature. This concept is realized by presenting several natural elements in hospitals such as the main park located in the middle of buildings, rooftop gardens, green facades and urban farming. In addition to helping the economy of hospitals to produce food, urban farming can also educate hospital patients about healthy food.
