The research of physical and chemical characteristics of groundwater in unconfined aquifer of weathering zone at Cikande areas with geological and hydrogeological mapping in regional context, and laboratory analysis methods, show the physical content in groundwater in weathering soils of Sandstone-Limestone Aquifers Units having a value of temperature 280C-300C, and total dissolved solids (TDS) 40-64 ppm, while in weathering soil the Tuff Aquifer Unit has a value of temperature 280C-300C, and TDS 57-101 ppm. furthermore the dominant ion content in groundwater samples from weathering soils of Sandstone-Limestone Aquifers Unit are calcium (Ca2+) and bicarbonate (HCO3 -) which are included in quadrant II facies Calcium Bicarbonate (Ca(HCO3)2). While the dominant ion content in weathering soil of Tuff Aquifer Unit is calcium (Ca2+) and chloride (Cl-) which are included in quadrant III facies of Calcium Clorida (CaCl2). Based on the results of measurements of physical parameters, the value is still below the threshold of drinking water. The pattern of groundwater flow is generally towards the south-southeast with the value of the hydraulic gradient is 0.117 m/L. The average infiltration rate in weathering soil of Sandstone-Limestone Aquifer Unit is 0.1983 cm/minute while in weathering soil of Tuff Aquifer Unit is 0.4445 cm/minute. Stratigraphically the study area is divided into four unofficial rock units, namely Limestone Unit, Sandstone Unit, Tuff Unit, and Alluvial Sediment Unit. The geological structure formed in the study area is in the form of folds and faults. The folding has the direction of the northeast-southwest fold and the drift fault which is relatively north-south.
