Summary: | Requirements engineering is an activity that aims to understand the main needs of users whose results are used during the system development process. Requirements engineering that are not done properly is the most common problem when doing system development. In the COBIT 5, there are arrangements related to define and manage requirements. COBIT 5 also separates the work between governance and management. However, most SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises) have not yet applied the separation of work. Whereas, SMEs are big potential to be able to make a positive contribution for the Indonesian economy. In this research, a system used to support the requirements engineering process for SMEs is implemented. The system consists of procedures and software. To achieve this, COBIT 5 was adjusted to the existing requirements engineering standard based on the situation of SMEs. The system was tested in two periods with improvement at the end of each period. The result of the second period of improvement is the final system. From the test, all test tasks were successfully carried out by the tester so it can be concluded that all functionality can run. The efficiency obtained in the second test period also increased 100% compared to the first one. In addition, the tester satisfaction score on the second test period reached 77.08 out of 100 which means it is good enough. Although the obtained test results are good enough, there are things that can be improved. The scope of the software can be expanded by adding a number of features, such as notifications and tutorials or instructions for using the software. The user interface of the software can be made more intuitive. In addition, system testing can also be carried out to more users to obtain more diverse inputs. |
