Cikakembang River flows through Majalaya Sub-District and the river is polluted by domestic activities from rural areas and also from the industrial activities (most of it are textile industry) around the river banks. The Cikakembang river segment can be divided into two, namely the Upstream Cikakembang River and Downstream Cikakembang River, in this planning study the quality and flowrate data to be used are data originating from the Downstream Cikakembang River. Based on the results of monitoring by BPLHD Kab. Bandung in 2013-2017, the flowrate in the Downstream Cikakembang River varies between 0.08 m3/s to 4.11 m3/s with an average discharge of 0.649 m3/s. The main pollutants that need to be treated are BOD5, COD, TSS, Total P and Fecal Coliform. The quality standard used is from PP No.82 of 2001 Category II. The concentration of BOD5 which must be treated from 36.6 mg/l to 3 mg/l, COD which must be treated from 96 mg/L to 25 mg/l, TSS which must be treated from 271,13 mg/l to 50 mg/l, Total P that must be treated from 0.2142 mg/l to 0.2 mg/l and Fecal Coliform from 96000 Jml/100ml to 1000 Jml/100ml. The selected treatment alternatives are Constructed Wetlands with primary treatment such as Bar Screen, Equalization Tank, Sedimentation Tank and sludge treatment such as Gravity Thickener and Sludge Drying Bed. text
