Description
Summary:Indonesia is a country located in Earthquake-prone Areas. One of the impacts caused by earthquakes in the soil layer is liquefaction. However, it is necessary to do an analysis of the type of soil that has experienced liquefaction and the consequences it causes. The consequences can be in the form of reduction in axial carrying capacity and reduction of lateral carrying capacity of the soil. Calculation of the reduction value can be sought with the help of CYCLIC1D software. This carrying capacity is then used to design the foundation. The foundation is a lower structure in a building that is supported by the ability of the soil layer. When the soil layer undergoes liquefaction, it is necessary to analyze the foundation design as it holds in these conditions. A good foundation design is a foundation that can withstand lateral loads, axial loads, and does not exceed the permissible deflections. The purpose of this final project is to design a bored pile foundation on land that experienced liquefaction during the earthquake on the Bakauheni Lampung Passenger Terminal construction project.
