This has the potential to increase the drive for higher activity and indirectly contribute to increasing vulnerability to potential disasters. As a coastal urban area, Makassar City is very prone to be affected by disasters due to climate change, for example hydrometeorological disasters. It is necessary to conduct a study of resilience in a regional economic perspective in order to be able to improve and protect the centers of economic growth against potential disasters. This research was conducted to determine the resilience of Makassar City by taking three elements of respondents: the government, business entities, and the community. The research indikators used refer to the convergences indikator in making city resilient, disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation, and the area business continuity management framework. The results showed that the performance of Makassar City which was measured through the three respondents' elements is 0.35 which was in the low category. To improve the resilience of the City of Makassar in the face of hydrometeorological disasters, a strategy to increase resilience needs to be done by considering the value of the toughness performance of each indikator. The strategy is divided into 3 priority scales, namely priority 1 (main) with very low performance values, priority 2 with low performance values, and priority 3 (alternative) with moderate performance values. text |
