Sofitel Tanjung Kelayang Resort & Spa is a multi-massing luxury lodging. The resort is located in a Special Economic Area of Tanjung Kelayang in the island of Belitung, with the total area of 13.17 Ha. The resort would be the solution for lodging needs in Belitung, especially the luxury ones. Targeted users are from the high-income, i.e. tourists (couples, families, tourists with special interests on tourism) and businessmen or workers who are on travel for work errand. The special characteristics of Sofitel Tanjung Kelayang Resort & Spa are: the resort is located on a white-sand-beach seashore, resort design mixed French art-de-vivre (the art of living) with Belitung culture, a bunch of facilities to accommodate guests’ needs, and latest technology appliance to support AccorHotels’ commitment on sustainability. The resort consists of 37 lodging units with 32 massings: 15 lodging massings and 17 massings for other functions. The resort also has a ballroom, meeting rooms, a chapel, and other functional rooms which total capacity is 532 people. The highest number of floors is 2. Building materials used are low-carbon materials from Belitung. The building coverage ratio is 40%, the floor average ratio is 8, the green coverage ratio is 30%, with the maximum number of floors is 20. Sofitel Tanjung Kelayang Resort & Spa will prove that luxury can be derived from a simple design that maximizes the nature view.
