Awareness of and interest in art in Bandung is quite high. Desire to create artworks is indicated by the large number of artists and art-based communities existed in Pasundan. Art communities become the spirit for art development in Bandung. Its potentiality need to be developed into a better direction. This project is established to facilitate art communities to be able to create and develop artistic ideas, as well as educate the public about the importance of art. With such motivation, level of appreciation of the society towards art will be increased. The Bandung artistic community Center facilitate all activities of the artists and the art communities that existed in Bandung, and to expand public knowledge and appreciation on art. Initiator of the project is private developer who works closely with the Government of the city of Bandung, in developing Bandung Technopolis located in Gedebage, West Java. On the 20,000 sqm land stands the buildings for a performance and exhibitions, workshops and rehearsals, amphitheater, commercial areas, and Office & Service. The concept of the “Creative Movement” is proposed to create facilities that trigger the creative activities in various fields of art using “squaring the circle” as the concept of massing. This project has two indicator concepts, namely Creative Stimulant and Social Attraction.
