| Summary: | Optimization problem is frequently found in daily life and there are many optimization methods that can be used to solve the problem. The Golden Ball is one of meta-heuristic optimization algorithm based on soccer concept generate initial solutions called players. Each player has a quality that derived from the objective function. Players are divided into a group called team and then each team receives a training to improve their quality. Teams run competition. The competition winner is determined by the teams having highest quality of its player. When the whole competition are ended, players transfer will be conducted. This Process are stoped until the best player is found. In this final project, the Golden Ball Method will be applied for solving employees scheduling problem. The objectives of the problem are minimizing the overtimes and maximizing the satisfaction of employees in terms of desire days off.
