Summary: | This book describes the design and implementation of a pilot control communication system and supporting android applications for inCharge, an electric vehicle supply equipment for office parking areas. InCharge is developed to help the preparations for the development of electric cars carried out by the Indonesian government, to support this step, adequate supporting infrastructure is needed. Especially publicly available charging infrastructure. Outside of Indonesia development of electric cars has been going on for several years, standards have also been issued such as UL 2202 and IEC 61851-1. The standards state that electric car supply device is divided into 4 modes which are determined by the type of connection to the power supply, the type of communication with the electric car, and the type of supply current. The design results were tested to the applicable standard and it was found that the communication subsystem could operate according to the standard, while the android application measured its sole usability metric and obtained a score of 95.04%. |
