Summary: | People nowadays seems to be increasingly tied to the devices they have. The number of features and modern applications offered by these devices have led people to spend most of their time with their devices. That is what then makes people think that their needs can be fulfilled because of the devices they have. The emergence of this modernization gradually has an impact on those who begin to forget the presence of activities that have traditional values such as folk games, one of the cultures that must be preserved. The game of the Indonesian people was appointed as an inspiration in making textile products that combine technical exploration of surface textile and supplementary weaving techniques, hoping that people's memory of these folk games is not lost and maintained. Moreover, people can also become more familiar with the supplementary weaving and various surface textile techniques because these techniques will be applied directly in this work to highlight the unique texture of the various types of textiles used. |
