advances, the community often feels bored with monotonous routines every day. Therefore they
need recreational activities to reduce stress due to the routines. However, the existing tourist
attractions are located far from the city center so it will be difficult to visit those spots during
weekdays. In the other side, Purwokerto city center is lack of entertainment and recreational
facilities that are able to acommodate the community needs of quality entertainment which is also
easily accessible and can be visited anytime.
In order to realize this, the lifestyle center building is chosen as a commercial place that is able to
provide various needs for recreation and entertainment such as dining areas, retail, and other
entertainment centers such as theaters, fitness center, and so on. This lifestyle center project is
designed with the open concept called urban oasis. The building will have many green open spaces as
a place for community interaction and equipped with various vegetations in response to the
surrounding environment. |
