This paper presented a new method on rock typing by modifying Kozeny – Carman equation that has been proved as a good method on rock typing. On this proposed method, there will be a correlation between porosity, permeability, and irreducible water saturation. This method will be applicated on sandstone reservoir (called Field “F” and “M”), and as the result, this method gives a good approach as a new method on rock typing. Besides that, this method also able to predict permeability which is enough accurate for permeability bigger than 1 md. text |
