| Summary: | The diversity of human activities causes an increase in space needed in everyday life. This condition
requires building that can increase connectivity, especially in the downtown area. Mixed-use building
has a potential to create higher permeability to get various functions closer to people, so they can
fulfill theirs needs without driving. Functions that need to be provided are lifestyle center, hotel, and
apartment. This project is located in Bandung, precisely on Jalan Cikapundung Barat. With an area of
17,300 m2, this project is expected to revive a long-time dormant area. This project was initiated by
one of the private developers with targeted users that are differentiated according to the functions
that are accommodated. This project has a permeable concept that is based on three main issues
namely attractiveness, efficiency, and accessibility. The project location is in the center of the city
which has high accessibility potential. This location has the potential to connect various activity hub
around central Bandung. With the existence of high permeability, hopefully the mixed-use building can
reduce massive city blocks by providing optimal accessibility. |
