Description
Summary:In Lab on Chip development, electrochemical sensors can be fabricated using screen printing method. Massive SPE manufacturing that is cheap, easy and fast using thick-film technology is being actively developed as a sensor platform with various methods of improving sensor performance. As a conductive material, carbon has several advantages compared to other conductive materials. Carbon has a relatively low-cost, easy to build and inert. Thus, this final project will present the fabrication and performance of several carbon-based conductive paste choices. The main carbon conductive materials to be used are graphite and graphene. Performance testing of conductive carbon paste as SPE requires surface testing, testing physical properties such as adhesion on the substrate, and as well as electrochemical testing including cyclic voltammetry measurement in H2O2 analytes. The results of the experiment show that carbon paste has good potency as electrochemical electrodes. It is proven by the performance improvement on commercial SPE that modified by carbon paste at the working electrode area. However, further development is needed for the fabrication of complete SPE using carbon conductive paste.
