One of biofuels that could be produced is gasoline through catalytic cracking. Development of catalyst is important to produce gasoline as same as Pertamina Euro 2 gasoline standard quality. The important parameters are conversion, octane number, aromatic content (<50%v/v), and benzene content (<5%v/v). Basic of catalyst is HY zeolite (Si/Al: 5,3) within aromatic yield is lower than aromatic yield from cracking process by ZSM-5. Catalyst was given additive of ZSM-5 (Si/Al: 80) dan phosphorous promotion. ZSM-5 addition 10%wt increases octane number due to aromatic yield increment. ZSM-5 has high aromatic selectivity due to shape selectivity factor. Phosphorous promotion purpose to decrease catalyst acidity for preventing overcracking and preventing aromatic yield’s over production. However, phosphorous promotion causes decrement triglyceride conversion. The best catalyst is 10ZSM-5/HY without phosphorous promotion. 10ZSM-5/HY’s activity at 500oC, WHSV: 2,59/h, and time of stream (TOS) 1 hour reaction condition has 99,26% triglyceride conversion. Gasoline selectivity is 68,34% organic liquid product, 47,45%v/v aromatic yield, 0,35%v/v benzene yield and octane number 94,2. 10ZSM-5/HY catalyst is deactivated until 8 hours time of stream. However, the best activity during first and second hours operation. The increments of temperature and resident time cause increments of conversion, oktane number, and aromatic selectivity. Optimum reaction condition at T: 500oC, WHSV: 2,59/h, and TOS: 2 hours. Kinetic study of cracking by 10ZSM-5/HY is important to design reaction system in industry. There is five lump model as the expression of kinetic variable in %wt. The kinetic variables are triclyceride, LCO&HCO, gasoline, gas, and coke. Reaction kinetic is modelled as power law kinetic model at reaction condition T:475-525oC, WHSV: 2,59-10/h, and time of stream 2 hours. The result of study proved cracking reaction commonly has one order reaction. Gasoline is mainly formed from cracking LCO and HCO. text
