This project is a about typology of transportation re-design Mali Airport Terminal, Alor, NTT. Terminal building is designed based on master plan, KP. 548 tahun 2016, from ministry of transportation. The site is located in Kabola, Alor Island. The area of site is 7092 m2. Alor Island is determined as National Tourism Destination and National Tourism Development Zone by Ministry of Tourism. Alor Island is the one of the outer island of Indonesia and has a high potential in natural and cultural tourism. The development plan needs to be supported by infrastructure facilities in that location. The capacity of the building is based on masterplan. The accommodation capacity of building is the result of calculating passenger projection in 2030. The calculation is 1.032.000 pax /year. Terminal building has to be developed because the passenger capacity cannot be accommodated. The type of this airport is spoke. Site that will be designed covers airport public zone, which is 9397 m2. The purpose of this design building is supporting potential tourism in Alor Island. There are design issues in this project, site issues, circulation, image and locality, and security, comfort, and safety issue. The basic design is Prologue of Alor, with two sub-concepts, experience and relax and stress free with tourism purposes as a priority. The design of terminal building represents the culture of Alor Island as the gate of Indonesia.
