Summary: | In the residential sector, rooftop solar power plants have the greatest potential to be utilized as electricity. As of February 2019, there are 624 PLN customers who have installed rooftop solar electricity with a total capacity of more than 8 MW. But that number is still far from the RUEN target for the use of rooftop solar electricity at 6.5 GW. Regulation of rooftop solar electricity as stated on MEMR Regulation Number 49/2018 has not been optimal to attract public interest in using rooftop solar electricity. To accelerate the use of rooftop solar electricity in Indonesia, there needs to be commitment and synergy from all sectors including the private sector, banking, community and organizations that support the use of rooftop solar electricity.
The final goal of this thesis is to provide input to the Government in implement a strategies in the use of rooftop solar electricity in the household sector. This research was carried out by internally analyzing the rooftop solar power business using VRIO analysis and analyzing externally using Porter's Five Forces and PESTEL analysis. The method in applying solar rooftop electricity is done through the Diamond Strategy. |
