Total seller who activity at Pasar Raya in 2018 is 7472 peoples. The effect of trading activity is solid waste generation. In accordance from waste sampling observation at Pasar Raya Padang, the mass of waste produced at Pasar Raya is 5352.18 kgs/day or equivalent to 5.4 tons in a day, with the density of waste generation at 151,83kg/m3. In addition, the composition of waste generation at Pasar Raya is dominated by food waste at 65%, followed by plastic 13%, paper 10%, metal 3%, others 3%, wood 2%, glass, textile, and rubber 1% for each composition. TPS 3R Pasar Raya has a maximum designed capacity of 11,04 ton waste/day or 40,24 m3 waste/day. The design of TPS 3R Pasar Raya has facilities, they are open windrow composting, anorganic waste treatment plant for paper, plastic, and metal, and residue. Residue produces from solid waste treatment is 17,6 m3/ day with waste transported to regional landfill 2 rit/day. text
