Summary:Gramedia Academy is a new business line of Gramedia publisher group that serves training for professionals. Gramedia Academy offers training material based on books published by Gramedia publisher group and provides the authors as trainers. Through internal and external organization analysis, it is found out that training industry is a very high competition industry. Gramedia Academy should transform its business model to keep business sustainability and escaped from the high competition in training industry. Research uses qualitative method with purposive sampling. The study conducts interview to 15 training managers from different companies and 15 trainers from different subject of training to get the behavior. It also interviews 2 digital platform founders to get business insight. Strategy formulation using Business Model Canvas to help Gramedia Academy sets new value proposition adopting digital technology and adapting digital business model implemented by any other business in other industries.
