This Final Project was selected by typology method, which is healthcare typology. The function of the building is an eye hospital. This project is located in Semarang City, with area of approximately 14250 m2. The initiator of this project is assumed to be a private stake holder with potential users in eye patients, ophthalmologists, nurses, hospital non-medical technicians, and regular visitors from Semarang City and Central Java society. This project is located on the site that has been considered for hospital needs with characteristics of sloping land located on the edge of the city (because the hospital is expected to be a reference for Central Java Province, it has to facilitate access from outside the city). The project was designed with regard to hospital standards to optimize the use and relationship between spaces. Moreover, this project is also designed with barrier free design. Design concept of this hospital was taken from its users, eye patients, using the concept of focus in architecture which can be felt by the senses besides sight, hence reiteration on multi-sensory architecture. The concept in the form of multi architecture sensory applied in landscape, mass of the building, and the building itself including the interior.
