CIK Indonesia, which is a chemical company, has recorded double digit gross profit growth in the last 3 years, where CAGR> 10% since transformation in 2016.
In carrying out the business and operation in Indonesia, PT. CIK has significant potential growth, but on the other hand this was not accompanied by proper maintenance management in building facility and infrastructures, which caused many unplanned stoppages at the time of production, even several times were ordered by CIK Group SHE (Safety Health and Environment) to stop production activities within a certain period because of several things related to safety that did not meet the standards.
Problems that occur in PT. CIK are high frequency of unplanned maintenance and some legal equipment certification / inspection. The failure on this equipment will interfere a work scheduling, because it requires an additional resource allocation and make overtime that because high maintenance cost. In addition, high man hour utilization that occurred every week will disrupt the quality of work execution process.
Some solutions are planned to be implemented based on priorities will be run using PDCA Framework. It is targeted after this improvement in maintenance department, it can increase the reliability of the equipment and can reduce breakdown <3%.
