The mini distillation column use to separate two or more material or purify of ethanol. Or produce the higher concentration than input. Distillation at STEI ITB use to separates ethanol water mixture. To build the sensor we have to loking for the characteristic of material that will be used (ethanol water mixture). Ethabol water mixture was azeotrope and there are any relations between specific gravity and ethanol concentration. Every percent of ethanol concentration value has different specific gravity this reason used for design the ethanol concentration total product sensor. While the ethanol concentration sensor for every stream use MQ3 sensor. MQ 3 produce different voltage for every percent of ethanol concentration value. The voltage and percent concentration value use to calculate the mathematical equation. To built total product sensor used ultrasonic sensor to know the volume of product and loadcell to measuring the massa. The volume and massa calculate to specific gravity. The specific gravity determines into percent concentration using mathematically equation. The result of this research is sensor concentration ethanol was present. For every stream sensor has decrease trend it means the ethanol in boiling pot was run out. The characteristic of sensor, was got for total product sensor that was static characteristic and dynamic characteristic. text
