Water supply has been issues for various countries, particularly for densely populated country, including Indonesia. Subang Regency is a developing region, specifically in tourism and agriculture sectors. However, only 274.300 people from total of around 1.6 million inhabitants has been getting access for local-government-supplied water. Pamanukan, Tambakdahan, Legonkulon, Binong, and Sukasari are among districts which has low service level of water supply. Those low percentage has spurred local government to increase service coverage to achieve 100% access of drinking water for 100-0-100 and “Standar Pelayanan Minimal” compliance target. Therefore, it is urgent to plan water treatment plant (WTP) for those 5 districts, located in Binong. WTP is planned for 200 lps capacity which could provide additional access for 45% of total resident in districts-to-be-served. Water source is planned to come from East Tarum Irrigation Channel, yet there are 6 parameters (based on Permenkes No. 492 Tahun 2010) which hasn’t comply standard. According to analysis, process unit needed for treatment is conventional process which uses coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation, filtration, disinfection, and sludge treatment. Based on landuse, operational and technical complexity, and economic factor, alternative unis used are cascade aeration as aeration unit, in-line static mixer as coagulation unit, hexagonal baffle helicoidal flow as flocculation unit, and rectangular basin using tube settler as sedimentation unit. text
