Due to the limited area, the dam is designed to be built on the off shore which part of ciliwung watershed that has 369 km2 area. The reservoir consist clean water storage and flood water storage. Dependable flow on ciliwung river is calculated using nreca method and the result for its simulation are 307 million m3 for reservoir requirement capacity and 34 m3/s for water demand fulfillment. Transerval channel for the clean water storage designed to fulfill reservoir's need. Design parameters for the clean water operation based on 50% reability flow with the amount of 42,53 m3/s with composit channel which able to contain flood water discgarge of 25 years return period with the amount 893,98 m3/s. Meanwhile the transerval channel designed to contain flood water discharge of 100 years return period. Design of sedimetn trap is necessary due to support the water quality on clean water storage that concentrating the sediment with the maximum size of sieve 0.05 mm. text |
