The Plumbing system must be able to distribute drinking water to every part of the building is required in the design of a building. Designing drinking water plumbing system can be done in a few steps. Clean water tanks need to be measured first by calculating the water needed by the building before the piping system could be designed. Piping system then can be designed by calculating the number of plumbing instruments and its fixture unit. Similarly, waste water plumbing calculations are also done based on the number of plumbing fixtures and its fixture units. Based on calculation and analysis it can be concluded that the need of water. The used water resources are city water supply, harvested rainwater, and recycled greywater. Treatment of harvested rainwater is conducted first to ensure the water quality based on drinking water quality by The Regulation of Indonesia Ministry of Health. Based on the design of the plumbing system, the pipe diameter of 1 inch and up to 5 inches are used. As part of water supply system and building safety system, fire protection system is also designed. The fire protection system is designed by utilizing hydrant and sprinkler system. text
