The RKN block contract will expires in August 2021 and CTX offering for the extension of the contract had been denied by the Government of Indonesia.
The Upstream Business organization within CTX IndoAsia Business unit rely on the Business Intelligent solution named Upstream Reporting and Business Intelligent Portal (URBIP) powered by Petroweb navigator software to do their data analytic and operation reporting activity. The Annual Technical Contract of URBIP will expire by the end of this year of 2019, and as per CTX Corporation policy, all active software must have active Technical Support service.
This final project is aimed to help solve the project team taking decision of the fate of the URBIP's powering software which is the Petroweb Navigator, by constructing creative criteria, identifying all possible alternatives and conducting alternative selection process. The Internal Organization & External Environment analysis is performed to gather all challenges that become influential factors to the development of criteria and alternatives. The Value Focus Thinking concept is used to guide the steps for the decision-making process, the Focus Group Discussion and the Nominal group technique discussion is utilized to gather all required data from the project team and SME, and the AHP methodology is selected to select the best alternative of all possible.
The combine deployment of Microsoft Power BI and Tibco Spotfire are selected as the replacement of Petroweb navigator software using the AHP Process, and this will require good implementation plan to ensure the changes are carefully managed to ensure no business disruption.
