The objectives of this study include: 1) Determine the current management of domestic wastewater; 2) Determine the selection criteria of alternative WWTP technology; 3) Determine alternative domestic wastewater treatment plants. The methods used in decision making include studying existing conditions, identifying problems, studying literature, and choosing alternative technologies. The selection criteria are related to construction, costs, risk of monitoring and maintenance, operational difficulties, resilience in the face of fluctuations, and the impact on the environment. The alternatives of WWTP technology proposed are active sludge, RBC, and aerobic biofilter. The selected technologyt is aerobic biofilter. text |
