Knowing that the acceleration of mass-energy is an energy source of gravitational waves, phenomena or celestial objects that are thought to be potential sources will be reviewed in this nal project, especially in the study of spiral-in compact double-star. Seeing that there is a conservation law still valid, then the energy to emit gravitational waves is obtained from orbit energy which decays in a quasi-adiabatic manner, so it becomes clear that the orbital parameters are related to the emission of gravitational waves. The close binary's chirp mass in uences the amplitude of the emission of gravitational waves, and the period and initial orbit separation aect the time needed to reach merging signi- cantly. The eccentricity of the orbit also greatly in uences symmetry of the momentum-energy of the orbit so that the time needed to reach merging is also in uenced by eccentricity. In this nal project, LIGO observations will be brie y introduced, the theory of gravitational waves, the spiral-in of two compact objects, and the eect of orbital parameters on the generated gravitational waves. text |
