Summary: | Rapid technological developments have led to the emergence of a variety of technologies that are more practical, replacing old technologies, such as technological developments in the banking sector. An example is an ATM machine. ATM machines are electronic machines used to conduct financial transactions, such as cash withdrawals, electricity payments, transfers, and so on. To use an ATM machine, users need to open an account and have an ATM card. This ATM card stores vital information, which is stored in magnetic stripe or chip. However, unfortunately these cards can be duplicated, although not easily. This is done by duplicating data contained on magnetic stripe or chip on the ATM card (fraud) and recording PIN information. Therefore, the ATM system requires additional authentication to improve security. Authentication is verification of an identity, such as the use of a password. However, even after using a password, sometimes burglary events still occur. So, by working on this project, a product will be designed to improve the security of personal data by providing additional authentication. |
