Telkom subsidiary are currently working with PT XYZ to work on the project "Installing Redundant Data Network (DC) infrastructure and Disaster Recovery Center (DRC)". Unfortunately this project is experiencing delays in completion of the allotted time. This thesis aims to find the root cause and find solutions that companies can use in reducing the root cause. The method used is a qualitative method by conducting interviews with parties related to the project. Current reality tree is a method used to find the root couse in this project. The root causes of this project delay are the lack in human resource management because lack competence in documentation and team changes, lack of procurement management because delayed in getting material, lack of project risk management because just made risk mitigation that technical, and communication breakdown. To overcome the root cause, this study proposes to apply the project management contained in the 6th edition of PMBOK. The proposed business solution is conduct training, acquire appropriate resource and avoid team changes, rescheduling for procuring material, seller performance review, sign contract with more than one seller, make schedule contingency for emergency risk, review document carefully, holding regular review. text
