Description
Summary:Indonesia is one of the world's largest producer and exporter of palm oil. Nearly 70% of oil palm plantations are in Sumatra, Riau and Riau Islands. Batam Island has a strategic location which bordering with Singapore, Malaysia and also the busy Singapore Strait shipping lane which has great potential to develop the Kabil Port CPO liquid bulk terminal facility to becomes a national scale gateway for flow of goods. By using precast concrete construction methods, with the production of concrete elements in other places, will simplify the construction process and ensure the quality of concrete production. Design of berth structure based on environmental data, operational and other criteria. Processing of environmental data for structural loads in this Final Project includes extreme wind analysis, hindcasting, transformation and extreme wave analysis. The structure planned in this Final Project includes loading platform, breasting dolphin, mooring dolphin, trestle, and catwalk. Include determination of the initial structural elements dimension which include plates, beams, pile cap, and piles. Structural analysis using SAP2000 software with AISC 360-16 standard code. Iterations are performed on the model until the output unity check ratio and deflection meet the required criteria. Other structural analysis outputs namely internal forces and placement reactions are used to design reinforcement of concrete elements which includes bending, shear, dowel and spiral reinforcement on beam plates, pile cap and pile plug. Furthermore, the design of precast concrete elements is carried out including plates, beams and pile cap where the elements have the same dimensions and a large amount of production. The analysis conducted is when the conditions of lifting, casting/installation and pedestal analysis. The analysis includes checking the strength of precast concrete for these conditions, if it does not meet, an additional reinforcement is carried out on precast concrete elements such as upper reinforcement, lifting loops, and shear connector.
