INSTITUT TEKNOLOGI BANDUNG https://digilib.itb.ac.id/gdl/view/42970 The development of technology in the electronic products industry which is not followed by the development of electronic waste processing technology has led to an increase in the rate of electronic waste generation. Electronic waste has potential hazards for the environment and health because most of its components are heavy metals and POPs. On Java, almost 90% of the total electronic waste produced is handled by the informal sector (Damanhuri, 2017). The city of Bandung is one of the largest cities in Indonesia without electronic waste sectors. The design of electronic waste recycling facilities in the city of Bandung refers to the generation of three most dumped electronic products in the city of Bandung, namely cellphones, laptops, and televisions. The generation projection uses the delay model for domestic projection and the step time model for non-domestic projection. The generation of electronic waste from domestic and non-domestic sources is projected to reach 3.683.018 units in 2029, the amount is equivalent to 10.656 tons in 2029. The scenario of electronic waste recycling systems has a collection rate of 50%, service level 91,4%, and recovery rate by 80% (Friege, 2012). The electronic waste recycling facility is designed in the Legok Nangka regional TPPAS area with 1 ha of land needed, the facility will be able to process 29,19 tons/day. The process of recycling PCBs, metals and cables can produce up to 7,75 tons of metal ingots every day and plastic insulators up to 0,18 tons every day. The residue from the cable recycling process and the separation of nonferrous metals and resin and fiber from the PCB demolition of 1,50 tons per day can be an energy source for the cement industry. text
