Description
Summary:PT. Oil Green Earth (PT. OGE) has been operating for 92 years in the area of operations in Sumatra under contract with the Government of Indonesia. This contract will expire so that PT OGE is responsible for restoring its entire area of operations before being handed back to the Indonesian government in 2021. PT OGE works under the direction of the KLHK (kementrian Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan) to carry out remediation of Crude Oil Contaminated Soil (COCS) and other waste management during the Revenue Sharing Contract After analyzing the capacity of the COCS processing facilities that are available at this time is very limited and will not be able to serve all the volume of COCS that must be cleaned, so it needs to be built several new COCS processing facilities Site selection for construction of facilities is an important work because if this is not done then the facilities already built in a location will not be used and the costs and time spent to build these facilities will be wasted. In this study will explain the selection of locations to build a processing facility needs to be studied in advance what criteria must be met by a location whether this location is suitable to build a processing facility. These criteria can come from government regulations or it can also come from the criteria or standards of the company. After the criteria are identified, a field visit is conducting to obtain the current data. Then the project team assigns a weight factor to each criterion and a weighted average value is given for each alternative. By calculating using the AHP method the best location for the construction of this facility will be known and can be recommendation to management
