This TPS has an area of 117 m2 currently serving more than 28,000 people from 16 RW in Sadang Serang and Sekeloa. Residents served by Sadang Serang TPS produce garbage generation of 35 to 40 m3 / day. Waste entering the TPS is usually transported directly to the Final Processing Site (TPA) every day with 2 times of irritation. The performance improvement of Sadang Serang TPS needs to be done so that waste can be processed first, and can reduce the amount of waste transported to the landfill site. In planning, the total population served is the entire Sadang Serang TPS service area. But the land used in the planning is expanded, so that it is expected that new waste processing activities will occur, especially organic waste and reduce waste generation to landfill. Waste management system planning at Sadang Serang 3R TPS includes the planning of waste reception systems, sorting systems, organic waste management systems, inorganic waste handling systems, and residue handling systems. Sorting is done manually using a conveyor belt. Inorganic waste selling behavior will be handled according to its type. Plastic waste will be chopped, paper waste will be pressed, metal waste will be contained before being sold. Organic waste will be processed using the open windrow composting method. With the planned system, by 2031, the generation of waste entering the TPS will be 46 m3 / day, equivalent to 8 tons / day. text
