Description
Summary:Cultivation plants can get maximum results when cultivated optimally. Environmental and nutritional factors greatly affect plant growth. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of environmental physic factors and nutritional treatment on growth which is described in a mathematical model of pakcoy growth (Brassica rapa subsp.chinensis.) with the Deep Film Technique (DFT) hydroponic system. Treatment details include Jatinangor system A (JA), Jatinangor system B (JB), Ganesha system A (GA) and Ganesha system B (GB), where system A uses a 100% AB mix and system B is a mixture of AB mix with POC MPL- 7 in 1: 1 ratio. Observations were made on environmental physics factors including light intensity (lux), temperature (° C) and humidity (%) and nutritional factors including Electrical Conductivity (EC), pH and water temperature (° C). Dependent variables include height, number of leaves, length and width of leaves 1, 2, 3 and 4 which are measured every day for 26 HST on 96 samples of pakcoy. The results of the study of the influence of nutrition and environmental treatment show when environmental conditions are in accordance with plant growth, the effect of nutrition was not significant on growth, but when environmental conditions were not in accordance with plant growth, the effect of nutrition significantly affected growth, based on the height, number of leaves, leaf length and leaf width 1, 2, 3 and 4. A mathematical model of growth of the height by EC, and seven models of growth of the number of leaves by light intensity, air temperature, humidity, EC, pH and temperature water.
