The need for peanuts from year to year continues to increase in line with increasing population, nutritional needs of the community, food diversification, and increasing the capacity of the food and food industry in Indonesia. But in terms of productivity of peanuts in Indonesia is still less than other countries. One of the causes is that the supply of water which has not been optimal and effective makes peanut productivity less. Therefore a method is needed to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of water supply by determining the water needs of peanut plants through a modeling of water requirements using a drip irrigation system to be able to create precision agriculture. The purpose of this study is to determine the mathematical modeling of the water requirement of peanut plants in soil and cocopeat media, determine the best productivity of each media based on parameters of plant biomass and peanut harvest biomass. The results obtained are the equation of peanut plant water requirement model using the sixth order polynomial equation where the equation of peanut water requirement model in soil media is y = 2E-07x6 - 5E-05x5 + 0.0032x4 - 0.0956x3 + 0.9099x2 + 6.8887x - 26.467 with R2 of 0.6912 while in cocopeat media is y = -5E-08x6 + 1E-05x5 - 0.001x4 + 0.0419x3 - 0.8028x2 + 4.6216x + 94.127 with R2 of 0.9949. The highest productivity of peanuts based on the parameters of plant biomass in soil media, namely in the provision of water by 75% of the field capacity and in the cocopeat media in the treatment of 50% of the capacity of the field. The highest productivity of peanuts based on yield parameters in soil media, namely in the treatment of giving water 75% of field capacity and 50% in cocopeat.
