Nevertheless sellers are chosen selectively because JD.ID marketplace carries
#dijaminORI. To ensure this, JD.ID marketplace has the seller acquisition division.
This division has a quality standard that the seller acquisition process takes no
more than seven days. However, based on data from March to May 2019, the level
of delay in the process was 64,82%; 61,65%; and 42,59%. This level of delay is
very important because the seller acquisition process is directly related to the
satisfaction of the seller as a partner of the company. Therefore, JD.ID marketplace
needs to make improvement to reduce the level of delay in the seller acquisition
process.
The method that used to improve the seller acquisition process is the six sigma
method with the DMAIC analysis framework (define, measure, analyze, improve,
and control). At the define stage, there are five critical factors to quality (CTQ) that
significantly influence the seller acquisition process. Based on interviews and
consensus discussions, CTQ related to the product audit process were selected for
further analysis. At the measure stage it can be seen that the product audit process
is very uncompetitive because it has the DPMO value of 130.172,41 and the sigma
level of 1,51. The analyze phase is carried out to determine the root cause of the
problem using a causal-effect diagram and FMEA analysis to determine the priority
of improvement. In the improve phase, it was raised a proposal to improve in the
form of automatic quality content using machine learning technology to improve
the performance of the product audit process. At the control stage the proposed
control proposal is designed to ensure that the proposed improvement is carried
out properly and the improvement process is carried out continuously. |
